Stoney River Soaps

We hope you'll love our soaps and our other products! We use only the finest ingredients, and our customers have given us lots of positive feedback.

Unlike most of the commercial soaps available at stores, the soap we make is real soap. We make it by mixing lye* and purified water with several oils, including olive, palm and coconut oils. In some of the soaps we add various herbs, flower petals and other natural ingredients. In most of our soaps we use plant oils and pure essential oils which are extracts from plants, flowers and trees. A few of our soaps are scented with fragrance oils. No artificial colors are used in any of our soaps, nor is lard or hydrogenated oil used.

When we decided to make soap, we searched the web for soap sites, and we were surprised at how high the prices were, even at wholesale. When we counted the cost we knew we could make high-quality soaps and other products at very competitive prices.

For quantities below our wholesale minimums, visit our retail page. Check the price list below for wholesale requirements if you're not sure. The prices are, of course, better when you buy in quantity or wholesale (think gifts!), and there is no restriction as to who can buy wholesale.

*Using lye in soap sounds harsh and dangerous, right? It isn't. It's true that lye is dangerous, but when you mix lye with any kind of oil, a chemical change takes place, and you get... soap! There is no longer any lye! It's a new substance. Cool, huh? The process is called saponification.

Retail and Wholesale Prices

Bars and containers have attractive labels. Logs yield 16 bars.
Bars are shrink-wrapped but are open at the ends so customers can smell them!
Jars and bottles may vary in appearance, depending on availability to us.

To receive lower prices on our products, use the wholesale section of this site. There is a $100 minimum to receive wholesale prices. The EXCEPTION to this rule is the purchase of soaps and shampoos. Even if spending under $100, you'll get wholesale prices on these items by purchasing at least fifteen bars, or a soap log, or a shampoo log.

NOTE ABOUT WHOLESALE PRICES
You do not need to purchase any minimum amount of any product
to receive the wholesale price, as long as the total for your entire order is $100 or more.

Terms of Agreement Between
Stoney River Natural Products and Purchaser

Normally we will ship within two business days, and you should have your products within about a week or ten days, but be prepared: we do keep an inventory, but if we are out of a certain soap or other product, or you make a large order, it may take approximately three weeks to produce soaps and shampoos, since it takes at least three weeks for them to cure.

Since we are a family business, other circumstances may also prevent us from delivering right away. Please understand. We strive to bring you very high-quality products, and returns are not accepted unless a product is defective.
